This is a sale for a brand new genuine Honda Acura Accord Civic CRX Del Sol Integra Prelude Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (ECT)(TWS) from Honda Motors, Japan. This round plug ECT/TW sensor will fit on OBD0 OBD1 OBD2 and will work with non-VTEC and VTEC applications. Please email me and make your own checks if uncertain regarding your application.

1) 37870-PJ7-003 (Black socket) or; 2) 37870-PK2-005 (White or black socket)

The ECT/TW Sensor is a temperature dependant resistor (thermistor). The resistance of the thermistor decreases as the coolant temperature increases. If your CEL or Check Engine Light is ON and the blink code indicates 6 or 86, OR, scan tool indicates DTC P0116, P0117 or P0118, there is most likely a problem with the Coolant Temperature Sensor (ECT)(TWS) circuit.

When the Coolant Temperature Sensor has failed or is failing, it can cause a host of problems. Symptoms such as:

1. Difficulty of starting engine when cold.
2. When cold fast idle out of spec.
3. Frequent stalling while warming up.
