This is a sale for a brand new genuine JDM Honda Civic SiR Integra SiR-G Type R B16A B16B B18C DOHC VTEC Spool Valve commonly termed VTEC solenoid from Honda Motors, Japan. This VTEC spool valve does not come with the oil pressure switch and will fit B16A B16B B18C DOHC VTEC heads to work with any JDM OBD2 B-series DOHC VTEC ECU applications. Some domestic markets like the JDM OBD2 B-series DOHC VTEC ECUs do not require the VTEC oil pressure switch reading for VTEC activation. Please email us if uncertain regarding your application.

This VTEC spool valve makes an ideal replacement unit for spool valve which were damaged during careless handling and transportation of the engine or cylinder head. It will also make a great replacement unit when your Check Engine Light with the service connector jumped, indicates Code 21 (Spool Valve) OR, scan tool indicates DTC1259, even after checking the electrical connections are okay.

The new VTEC solenoid comes with new o-rings and filters.
